Today was a sad day for Gangjeong. This morning the budget for the construction of the ROK/US naval base passed for next year.

At 3pm, during protestant mass,  direct action started

At both gates cars were parked.

With people on top of them

and underneath

The guy on top of the car was wearing barbed wire protection

Shortly afterwards over 300 police arrived

Something must be really funny. I did not find out what though….

and then they started clearing the way

Aggressive police camera men started harrassing people

and then the police got violent

removed the guy on top of the car

 

and then the one underneath the car

Then the car was pulled away

in total three people got arrested
